Handmade with Care in North Carolina

My pottery is fired in an electric kiln at cone  5/6.  I love both bold color palettes and soothing earth tones.  Patterns, textures and sgraffito enhance my pots and will enhance your enjoyment of these functional pieces.

I began making pottery after retiring from a long teaching career.  Nothing feels better than sitting down at a wheel and letting my imagination guide me, unless it's contemplating how to glaze my work!

Other potters' work inspires me endlessly, and their openness to sharing techniques and glazes opens up new worlds.  We are a community.  We are people who create and give. We take the old forms and make them new again.
